There are times when I see shots from other photographers of a location so magical that I must see it for myself.  Only some of these locations are within reach and, even then, require a bit of extra effort from me.  This is one of those spots, the Manasquan Reservoir near Howell, New Jersey.  I can't remember exactly but I must have left home around 2:30 in the morning to be in place before sunrise.  Cup of coffee, some good tunes on the car stereo, my love of road trips and I'm good to go - especially when there is a possibility of being treated to something like this.  I know some of you will think this is a touch insane.  There are times when I might be tempted to agree with you.  Might.

But, if you had been there, on this particular morning, I think I could convince you otherwise.
