I did find some ice the other day, not a lot and the best of it was in small puddles along the side of the road rather than on the edges of the creeks. I actually passed up the first few puddles I came across - being so close to the side of the road, cars had stirred up dust and dirt, the debris spoiling the look of the ice. It didn't take (too) long for me to realize that I could brush off the ice. So there I was, kneeling down next to the road, cleaning off the ice, while several cars passed by. As photographers, we can't be too concerned about appearing foolish to others from time to time.
