I've been feeling a need to do some different things, needing a bit of a kick or fresh perspective.  And along come some friends who proposed a photo challenge for March, one shot each day, on established themes.  It's good to focus on the things we do well - and there are benefits to trying other things, getting out of our comfort zone.  I usually avoid these sorts of challenges, something about wanting to concentrate on making art and pretty sure I can't do that daily, on command, to my expectations.  But I know other people gain from these challenges so decided to give it a go.

The theme for this shot, day 2, was round.  I'm wracking my brain, trying to figure out what I could do that I might like, even a little.  Coffee worked - the still life aspect is out of my comfort zone but doing it with coffee was well within my comfort zone.  I love coffee!

The month is still early - join in if you are so inclined.  The more the merrier!
