Here's a fun one - and a lesson in working a scene. I saw this soccer net from across the field - of course it was the orange netting that grabbed my attention. All I saw was orange and blue. But when I started shooting, I was getting trees, power lines, occasionally the dry field. So I kept at it, getting closer, getting lower. By the time I finished, I was lying down, inside the net, shooting straight up. Perhaps I will get better at knowing what I want - in the meantime, I persist until I stumble on it. I got quite a few stares from others walking around the park, another sign you are on the right track - when people stop and attempt to figure out what on earth you are so very interested in.
